We have four state-of-the-art dance studio spaces at BTSD! Our studio rooms are equipped with full-length mirrors, raised marley dance floors, ballet dance barres, and a parent waiting room. We offer dance lessons for ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip-hop, gymnastics, and contemporary for kids and teens of all ages. We ask that your child be at least 3 years of age, and there is no experience necessary to begin dancing.

BTSD is also very proud of our award-winning talented Performance Groups that are audition-based. The BTSD Perfomance Teams compete all around the country in places such as New York, Las Vegas, Orlando, and Chicago. Many of our dancers have won National and Regional dance scholarships, high accolades, and many other top dance honors! We hold auditions in late spring, and if your child is interested in trying out, we will post information in the studio and online.

At Barbara Thompson School of Dance, we place your child in the appropriate classes by age, skill level, and dance experience, and sometimes we will try them out in a few classes before we commit their dance schedule.
